Why Did I Spend Time and Energy Creating This Course?

My name is Dan Lombardo. I love my family, cooking and having fun. As my kids got older, I realized 3 very important things:

  •
I need to teach my Son and Daughter to cook

  • I need to teach others to cook in an easy, enjoyable, fast way.
  •
I need to give back so others can pass it down to others.

I am the owner and creator of What The Food, a division of Help Me Chef which is s website dedicated to helping ordinary people cook extraordinary meals. I dedicated myself to buy, cook and taste every recipe and the most important thing, make it into a single serving for you. Upon earning my Masters Chef rating, I started teaching people to make food, but not just regular food, extraordinary, delicious restaurant quality food at home. Many success stories warm my heart, from the 50 year old guy who stopped during class and his eyes welled up and I asked what was wrong. he said, “I can’t believe I just made that. I mean my hands were doing it but I can’t believe it was me” to the newlywed couple who’s vegetarian wife made an amazing Avocado Picatta and couldn’t wait to try it at home, to the biker who said he hated mushrooms but after eating the mushroom Cechetti said, “I guess I just never had good mushrooms before.”

Why It’s Different

Cookbooks and Online recipes (even cooking shows) instruct what to make and it’s likely for 4, 6, or even 8 servings. I give you a recipe for a single serving, and if you need two, you double it. Simple right? This one trick, breaking down a recipe into a single serving will save you money, time and clean up without sacrificing taste or food quality. Most use one pan and although some may seem complicated for the person that never cooked before, I’ve simplified the steps so it’s bullet proof. Only thing you have to do is decide what you feel like eating and pick it up. You can cook most recipes in 10 minutes or less. . You only buy what you need, you only eat what you cook, you only clean what you used. You save money, you save time, you save calories because you don’t over eat. Win, Win, Win.

Check this out – Not including weekend meals, take out or special occasions (or eating at the In-Laws) 3 meals a day equals 780 meals a year. Sounds like a lot even to me and I’ve been cooking for years but guess what, it is a lot and if you aren’t doing it right, it’s a whole lot of bad.

So, let’s get it going in the right direction. This guide will help you get started, in the kitchen….right now.

WHY THIS GUIDE IS SPECIAL

Many books, specifically cook books are either too advanced for general use or too difficult for everyday cooking or the first time chef. When I see these books, I wonder who would just start out by following these recipes (very intimidating) or if given as a gift, would put pressure on the chef to perform at a fairly high level. Some don’t have pictures so you don’t even know what it’s suppose to look like.

I’ve solved all that. Single serving, well balanced meals with easy instructions and a video to help you through. All foods are from your grocery store and many require no more than one pan. If you ever wanted to learn to cook (not just assemble like those pre-made meals) this is the program for you. it couldn’t be easier…so, let’s get cooking.
